Cricket Australia and SACA have released their Umpire Panels ahead of the 2026-27 season.
South Australian umpire Eloise Sheridan retains her position on Cricket Australia’s Contracted Umpires Panel (CACUP) and Peter George has received a national contract for the first time. He is the singular umpire in Australia to be added to the national Panel, comprising only 18 umpires across all States & Territories.
SACA warmly congratulates Eloise and Pete on their selection, which recognises their dedication and expertise.
Additionally, SACA has announced the State Umpire Panel (SUP) for the 2026-27 season. The SUP represents South Australia’s top umpires in Premier Cricket.
Dhaval Bhatt, James Cushway and Kurt Miegel remain on the Panel, continuing to perform to an exceptionally high standard. We welcome Ali Cheema and Purvag Nanavati this season, in recognition of their progress and potential. This is the first time in three years we have invited new umpires to join the State Umpire Panel.
Congratulations to all five umpires selected, all of whom will be officiating in Domestic matches this season, which may include WNCL, WBBL, Second XI and Cricket Australia National Championships.
