AUTO-RENEWAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Members or another Member on their behalf (each a Payer) may authorise payments of Membership Fees (and subject to availability and the terms of clause 6, Transferable Associate Card (TAC) fees) from a nominated Visa or Mastercard credit card (Credit Card). Payers can choose to pay the Membership Fees for their own Membership or both their own and other Member’s Membership(s) (Membership or Memberships) (and any TAC fees, if applicable). Subject to the terms below, the Membership(s) linked to the Credit Card will be automatically renewed each year.
2. Payers can opt-into, or opt-out of, these automatic renewals (Auto-Renewals) for Membership Fees and any TAC fees (if applicable) (Applicable Fees) online at membership.saca.com.au, or by telephoning SACA Member Services on 08 8300 3232 (Contact Methods).
3. By opting-in to Auto-Renewals, the Payer:
- authorises us to:
- deduct from their Credit Card the Applicable Fees for all nominated Memberships, no earlier than 45 days before the current Membership Year ends on 31 August of each year. The payment from their Credit Card will continue for recurring Membership Years, until it is terminated under clause 4;
- save their Credit Card for Auto-Renewals for each Membership Year, until this arrangement is terminated under clause 4;
- use and disclose their personal information to process Auto-Renewal payments, send reminders and keep Members updated of their Membership and TAC status. Further details of how we handle personal information are available in our Auto-

- will be sent emails at least 7 days and then 1 day before any Applicable Fees are deducted from their authorised Credit Card. The Member will also be sent these emails if another Member is paying on their behalf. All Members must ensure their email addresses remain accurate and current;
- is responsible for:
- ensuring the Credit Card is valid, with sufficient funds and payment limits for all Applicable Fees to be deducted;
- ensuring the Credit Card details are saved to their Membership account; and
- compliance with other terms and fees imposed by their Credit Card provider, including for authorised users of the Credit Card.
Invalid Credit Cards, insufficient funds or payment limits will result in processing of the Auto-Renewal being rejected. We may, but are not obliged to, make multiple payment processing attempts on a rejected Credit Card;
- represents that they are authorised to use the Credit Card;
- must advise any other Member, and obtain their consent, before activating Auto-Renewal on behalf another Member, if they are paying on behalf of that Member.
- The deduction:
- of the Membership Fees from the Payer’s authorised Credit Card and Auto-Renewal will continue each year, for any upcoming Membership Year, unless and until:
- the Payer opts-out at least 1 day before the upcoming annual Auto-Renewal processing date, using any of the Contact Methods. No fees are charged for opting-out of Auto-Renewal;
- a Membership Fee remains unpaid following the final rejection of the Auto-Renewal processing attempt for the relevant Membership Year; or
- the Member resigns and ceases their Membership or their Membership is cancelled, whichever occurs earliest; and
- of any applicable TAC fees from the Payer’s authorised Credit Card and Auto-Renewal will continue each year, for any upcoming Membership Year, unless and until:
- a TAC is unavailable for purchase for the upcoming Membership Year;
- the Payer opts-out at least 1 day before the upcoming annual Auto-Renewal processing date, using any of the Contact Methods. No fees are charged for opting-out of Auto-Renewal;
- a TAC fee or the Membership Fee for the Membership Category to which the TAC is attached, remains unpaid following the final rejection of the Auto-Renewal processing attempt for the relevant Membership Year; or
- the Member resigns and ceases their Membership or their Membership is cancelled.
- If any of the events in clause 4 occur:
- the Payer will be opted-out of Auto-Renewals for all Memberships linked to that AutoRenewal, including their own Membership and any applicable TAC(s); and
- Members will need to arrange alternative methods of payment before 31 October to maintain or apply for their Membership or any applicable TAC.
- You acknowledge and agree that despite anything else in these terms, TACs:
- are not available for purchase by SACA Big Bash Members,
- are available for purchase by Full, Country, Reserved Seat and Junior Members subject to clause 6(c) and the Member’s compliance with the SACA Constitution and By-Laws (Eligible Members);
- are subject to yearly allocation numbers. Once those allocations are exhausted for an upcoming Membership Year, Auto-Renewal of the TAC is not available to Eligible Members, even if:
- the Auto-Renewal option is selected; or
- the Eligible Member currently holds, or has previously held a TAC; and applicable Membership terms and conditions for the relevant Membership Year
(d) will not be charged to your Credit Card if the allocation for the upcoming Membership Year has already been exhausted (and Eligible Members that apply for a TAC will be advised accordingly).
- Members can check their Membership or TAC status at any time via the online portal at membership.saca.com.au. With each payment of their Membership Fee(s) by the Payer, the relevant Member agrees to continue adhering to and be bound by the SACA Constitution and By-Laws (available at https://www.saca.com.au/about/saca/constitution), and applicable Membership terms and conditions for the relevant Membership Year”.
