Batter
After winning the Bradman Medal in 2016/17, the same season he led West Torrens to their historic Premier Cricket clean sweep, local South Australian Daniel Drew earned his first West End Redbacks contract. Drew went on to make his Sheffield Shield debut in 2019 and had a breakout season in 2022/23, making his List-A debut and becoming a regular in the top order of the Shield side. His current career highlight was making a career-best double century against Western Australia at Adelaide Oval in February 2023, guiding South Australia to a win against the eventual champions. He earned a multi-year deal at the end of that season to stay in his home state.
