Batter
A veteran of South Australian cricket, Bridget Patterson has been part of the SA Scorpions squad for over a decade. Patterson grew up on Kangaroo Island and played her childhood cricket against the boys before moving to the mainland and earning her first Scorpions contract ahead of the 2012/13 season. Two WNCL seasons have been standouts for Patterson – 2018/19 where she made two centuries and finished second in the Player of the Tournament voting and 2020/21 where she won the Andrea McCauley Medal as SA’s best player after making 371 runs at an average of 61.83. At the end of the 2022/23 season, which included the opening batter making her highest score of 152, Patterson moved to third on the all-time Scorpions run tally.
