Batter
A local South Australian, Thomas Kelly is a middle-order batter for the West End Redbacks. From a talented family where his father Matthew was an AFL player for the Adelaide Crows, Thomas and his twin brother Corey grew up playing cricket against one another, leading to them becoming the first set of twins to play a game of cricket together for South Australia when Thomas made his One Day Cup debut in November 2021. Kelly followed that up with his First-Class debut in March 2022 in a winning Sheffield Shield side and he won the Barry Jarman Award for the most improved Redbacks player after that 2021/22 season. Off the field, Kelly is great in the community with fans and up-and-coming players. He’s also a Childhood Cancer Association ambassador.
