Player Story

Growing up as one of the brightest prospects in Victoria, Jake Fraser-McGurk played for Australia’s Under 19 side in 2019. The batter became the States’ third youngest Sheffield Shield debutant when he played his first match as a 17-year-old and he hit a half-century on debut in both domestic formats. Fans may also recognise Fraser-McGurk for his exploits in the field, with a number of his stunning outfield catches in the Big Bash League going viral. Ahead of the 2023/24 season, Fraser-McGurk sought a move to South Australia for more opportunities and signed with the West End Redbacks for two seasons.
