Young quick Ella Wilson is a fiery fast bowler and middle-order batter with strong leadership qualities. Wilson struck her maiden First-Grade half-century for Glenelg as a 15-year-old and won the Shelley Nitschke Medal as the most outstanding player of SACA’s T20 Cup the following summer. The right-arm pace bowler was captain of South Australia’s Under 19 squad at the 2022 National Championships which earned her a spot in Australia’s side for the Under 19 World Cup in South Africa. Wilson made her SA Scorpions debut at the end of the 2022/23 season, staying in the side for the WNCL Final.
