All-rounder
A powerful all-rounder, Tahlia McGrath’s quick bowling and ability to bat at the top of the order makes her a valuable asset to any side. She has been a member of the Scorpions WNCL squad since 2011 and her performances earned her an Australian debut in 2016. McGrath won two consecutive Andrea McCauley Medals as the best Scorpions player in 2018/19 and 2019/20 which led to a breakout few seasons with the Australian team which included World Cup, Ashes and Commonwealth Games victories. McGrath was named Player of the Series in the 2022 Women’s Ashes and earned the ICC Women’s T20I Player of the Year Award in 2023. She even captained Australia in an ODI series against India, the same year she skippered the Adelaide Strikers to their maiden WBBL title.
