South Australian opener Henry Hunt will miss tomorrow's Sheffield Shield match against Western Australia after being diagnosed with concussion.
Hunt was struck on the helmet while fielding on the final day of South Australia's match against Queensland. He was assessed by medical staff at the time and has been closely monitored in the days since.
Meanwhile, bowlers Jordan Buckingham and Campbell Thompson continue to make positive progress in their respective rehabilitation programs.
Buckingham is recovering from a side injury, while Thompson is nearing a return from a hamstring complaint. Both players are targeting a return to selection within the next two to three weeks.
All-rounder Jerrssis Wadia is also progressing well after suffering a minor side strain during South Australia's One-Day Cup clash against Victoria.
Following a period of reduced loading and rehabilitation, Wadia is expected to be available for selection within the next fortnight.
