South Australia has named its squad for its first home game of the One Day Cup season, taking on Tasmania at Karen Rolton Oval on Wednesday.
Left-arm quick Campbell Thompson comes into the squad, replacing Dokey Hoogenboezem and Lloyd Pope.
Ryan Harris's side will be searching for its first win of the 2026/27 campaign after its season opener against Western Australia was abandoned due to wet weather.
Despite the early finish, South Australia made a promising start to the match. Opener Jake Fraser-McGurk blasted an unbeaten 46 from just 33 balls before rain brought play to an end.
The strong start followed an impressive bowling performance, with South Australia restricting Western Australia to 238 from its 50 overs.
Quick Henry Thornton was the standout with the ball, claiming four wickets, including the key scalps of Sam Fanning, Joel Curtis, Cameron Bancroft and Ashton Turner.
