South Australia were defeated by eight wickets by Western Australia in their fourth WNCL match of the season.
SA won the toss and elected to bat but lost three early wickets. Emma de Broughe and Tahlia McGrath, however, battled well to string together a good partnership.
Their 91-run stand was eventually broken as de Broughe fell for 40 looking to go over the off-side. McGrath soon followed for 47.
SA were bowled out for 153 after Eleanor Larosa put up a valiant resistance late on in the innings.
Amanda-Jade Wellington and Jemma Barsby dismissed the two openers but WA chased the target with 23.5 overs to spare.
South Australia travel to Queensland next for two more WNCL fixtures on January 20 and 22.
