The four-day matches will be part of a quadrangular series which will also feature one-day matches against South Africa A, India A and Cricket Australia’s National Performance Squad.
The South Australian trio played an integral part in the West End Redbacks’ 2015-16 Sheffield Shield campaign, and will head to Queensland full of confidence.
“It is important that we continue to build our arsenal of quality fast-bowlers and this squad features some new faces such as Joe Mennie and Dan Worrall, both of whom have impressed at the Shield level,” National Selector Rod Marsh said.
Brad Haddin will also join the squad as Assistant Coach for the two four-day matches, as part of Cricket Australia’s Coach Development program, working with Troy Cooley at the helm.
The squad will assemble in Brisbane on Sunday, with the first match against South Africa A to take place at AB Field on Saturday 30 July.
