Members who have 50 years’ continuous Membership with SACA are automatically included in the 50+ Year SACA Member Club. In recognition of their many years of support, these Members receive additional exclusive benefits each year. There are two key milestones within this club – first when a Member reaches 50 years and again when they serve 65 years.
Rewarded with the best view in the house
Members of our 50 Year Club are entitled to join a ballot for special reserved seating at the Adelaide Test match in the SACA Members’ Area, with complimentary beverages served direct to their seats. More information regarding the ballot will be shared with 50+ Year Members before the Test Match.
To ensure fair allocation of seats amongst the 50+ Year Members, seating will be allocated via a ballot conducted through the SACA. As demand is expected to be high, please note that an allocation is not guaranteed for every 50+ year Member. However, the more days you register for, the better your opportunity of securing a day through the ballot process. We encourage you to select as many days as you are able to attend to maximise your chances.
Celebrated at an annual luncheon
Each year we celebrate our long-standing SACA Members at an exclusive event during a Sheffield Shield match. Members, along with a guest, are invited this complimentary luncheon for a three-course meal in the Ian McLachlan Room. This is a wonderful time for Members to catch up with old friends, share stories of their great cricketing past and relive precious memories from the SACA Members' Area and historic Adelaide Oval. Ultimately, these patriotic Members attend to acknowledge and celebrate with those who have reached the 50 Year and 65 Year milestones.
“I’ve been a SACA Member since I was 16. My father was the one that got me the Junior Membership as he was very keen on the cricket. I always went (to Adelaide Oval) with dad when he was alive. I do still think of the days when we went together.
My favourite thing about being a SACA Member is the benefits – there are all sorts of things happening. The social side of things is really good, and being amongst the crowd. It’s a privilege to be a SACA Member.”
Heather Sutton, 50+ Year SACA Member
