The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) has reviewed the Infrastructure Strategy 2019–2029 and endorsed a refreshed South Australian Cricket Infrastructure Strategy – The Second Innings: Towards 2030
The refreshed Strategy sets out a clear infrastructure framework and strategic direction to guide and prioritise investment in cricket facilities—from grassroots to high performance—across South Australia over the next five years (2026–2030). It ensures facilities continue to meet the changing needs of the cricket community.
Building on the original Strategy, the update incorporates current participation, population and facility data, and aligns with national strategies, government priorities, and SACA’s community cricket region structures.
SACA acknowledges and thanks local and state government partners, cricket associations, community and premier clubs, and other stakeholders who contributed to the review process throughout 2025.
