SACA’s Gear Up Program has launched again for this season.
What is Gear Up?
Affiliated community clubs, associations and schools are eligible to apply to purchase heavily discounted equipment for their junior teams.
The equipment kits are designed for Stage One (Under 10/11) and Stage Two (Under 12/13) teams. All equipment is supplied by Kookaburra, with the cost subsidised by SACA. More information about the gear we are offering, and their prices is available here.
This year, there will be just one Round to make more equipment available for the start of the summer.
Eligibility:
SACA assesses all applications, with priority given to those fielding new junior teams. Both successful and unsuccessful applicants will be advised by email. Successful applicants will be invoiced and will be able to collect equipment once payment has been received.
To be eligible, as a CLUB you must be affiliated with SACA for the 2025-26 season and field a minimum of 1 x Junior team. Clubs with Great Club status in SACA’s Club Support Program will be prioritised in the assessment process.
To be eligible, as a SCHOOL you must be involved in at least one of the following initiatives in 2025-26:
- Enter a team or teams in an organised cricket competition i.e. School Sport SA, SAAS, SACA Primary School Competition, IGSSA etc.
- Welcome SACA to conduct a promotional clinic at your school
- Sporting Schools
- Woolworths Cricket Blast School Cups
- Woolworths Cricket Blast Health and Physical Education Program
