A wicketkeeper-batter, Josie Dooley comes from a strong cricketing family with her brother Patty also a professional cricketer. Originally from Queensland, Dooley made her WNCL debut for the Fire in 2018 and she was selected in a Governor-General’s XI’s numerous times, while also being involved in Australia A tours. Ahead of the 2020/21 season, Dooley decided to move to South Australia and join the Scorpions, a move that instantly paid off when she hit her maiden WNCL century on March 2021 against Tasmania. Outside of cricket, Dooley is completing media studies and is a passionate surfer.
