Redbacks Marsh Cup squad v Queensland

The West End Redbacks have named a squad of 14 for their Marsh Cup clash with Queensland at Karen Rolton Oval on Wednesday.

Alex Carey returns to action for the South Australia, in line to play his 120th List A game.

Spencer Johnson drops out of the squad due to international duties for Australia’s T20I series against the West Indies. Jake Fraser-McGurk has been named pending his involvement in that same series.

Redbacks squad of 14: Jordan Buckingham, Alex Carey (wk), Harry Conway, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Josh Kann, Thomas Kelly, Jake Lehmann, Ben Manenti, Nathan McAndrew, Nathan McSweeney (c), Harry Nielsen, Lloyd Pope, Henry Thornton, Jake Winter

Jake Winter has held his place in the squad following his List A debut last week, with Josh Kann also in line for a debut should he be selected in the final XI.  

Henry Hunt is unavailable for the rest of the season following surgery to repair a broken nose suffered last week against Victoria.

Liam Scott is also unavailable after suffering a badly sprained left ankle in the Redbacks Sheffield Shield clash against Victoria last week.

First ball of the Redbacks battle with Queensland is scheduled for 10.30am at Karen Rolton Oval. Entry is free and food and beverage will be available throughout the day.
