If I am a Reserved Seat Member, can I go back to being a Full, Country, or Junior SACA Member next season?

Yes, you can change back from a Reserved Seat Membership to the relevant Full, Country or Junior Membership at the beginning of any season, however should you wish to upgrade back to Reserved Seat Membership again in the future you may be required to join the Reserved Seat Membership waitlist and your same seat may not be available for you.

Can I purchase a Transferable Associate Card?

Reserved Seat Members have the opportunity to purchase a Transferable Associate Card or upgrade to a Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card at the point of renewing (subject to availability).

To prioritise Members over guests for access to cricket at Adelaide Oval, the Board will set a limit on the number of Transferable Associate Cards that can be sold each season, as is already done with daily Guest Passes. The limit set by the Board will be at a number greater than the highest ever historical Transferable Associate Card sales. Members who purchase a Transferable Associate Card, will be offered a priority period to buy a Transferable Associate Card the following season.

What is a Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card?

This card also has an assigned reserved seat in bays 304 or 305 for all matches where there is a Reserved Seat Members’ Area.

Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Cards are currently sold out.

You can join the waitlist to purchase a Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card, so that your guest can also enjoy a reserved seat beside you on eligible match days. This is done at the point of renewal.

Unless using a Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card, your guests will be unable to sit in the Reserved Seat Members’ Area. They can, however, sit in the unreserved, first come first served seating in the general Members’ Area.

How much is a Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card this season?

Can I select my seat next to another Reserved Seat Member?

Please note, it is important to mention this before either Reserved Seat Member is assigned a seat.

Can my child or grandchild sit in the Reserved Seat Members’ Area?

A child cannot sit in the Reserved Seat Members’ Area, unless the Reserved Seat Member has a vacant Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card seat belonging to them.

Children nine years of age or younger as at 1 September 2023, if accompanying their parent or grandparent who is a SACA Member, can gain free access into Adelaide Oval when accompanying the SACA Member (subject to capacity constraints).

Reserved Seat Members should note that if their child/grandchild under 10 years is not permitted to sit in the Reserved Seat Members’ Area, unless they have a Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card and that seat is vacant. Accordingly, the Reserved Seat Member will be unable to sit in or use their reserved seat, given their responsibility for supervising that child or grandchild. (Both can however sit in the unreserved, first come first served seating in the general SACA Members’ Area).

No, a daily Guest Pass holder cannot sit in the Reserved Seat Members’ Area as this area is reserved for Reserved Seat Members and Reserved Seat Transferable Cardholders.

Anyone can apply to go on the Reserved Seat Membership waitlist. In order to be eligible to receive a Reserved Seat Membership offer, the person must first be a Full, Country or Junior Member

Do I have voting and nomination rights as Reserved Seat Member and/or can I attend SACA meetings?

Adult Reserved Seat Members are Voting Members and are entitled to receive notices of, attend and vote at meetings of SACA.

However, given the SACA Constitution currently requires that Member Elected Directors on the SACA Board must be Full or Country Members at all times during their appointment, an Adult Reserved Seat Member is therefore not eligible to nominate for or hold office as a Member Elected Director.

Should an Adult Reserved Seat Member wish to hold office as a Member Elected Director, they would first need to apply to revert to Full Membership or Country Membership.

Junior Reserved Seat Members are not Voting Members and are not entitled to receive notice of, attend and vote at meetings of SACA. They are also not eligible to hold office as a Member Elected Director on the SACA Board.

Will my seat number be on my Member Card?

Yes, your reserved seat number will be located on the back of your Reserved Seat Member Card. If you also purchase a Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card, the reserved seat number will also be located on the back of your Reserved Seat Transferable Associate Card.

If I know another Reserve Seat Member or Transferable Cardholder is not attending a game, can I use their Reserve Seat for my guest for that day?

Member Cards will be checked upon entry into the Reserve Seat Members Area. If you do not have a Reserve Seat Members Card or Reserve Seat Transferable Associate Card, you can not sit in the Reserve Seat Members Area.

If I have a mobility impairment, but would like to purchase a Reserve Seat Membership, can I select the type of seat I need?

Mobility impaired seats are available for our Members to have reserved for them during international matches throughout the Members Area, at no extra cost to you (outside of the Reserve Seat Members Area). If you prefer to purchase a Reserve Seat Membership, we will record the details of your requirements and we will endeavour to meet your mobility requirements.
