Prior to gaining her first State contract in 2017/18, Annie O’Neil captained the South Australian Under 18s side for two consecutive National Championships. The right-hand batter also made Sturt Cricket Club’s highest score for any player (man or woman) when she made 242 off 144 balls in a 50-over Premier Cricket match in 2017, which is also one of the world’s highest womens’ scores. Hailing from Murray Bridge, O’Neil made her Scorpions debut in 2019 and has been a member of the Scorpions squad ever since.
