The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) is pleased to announce a five‑year extension of its long‑standing partnership with iconic cricket brand Kookaburra, continuing the relationship through to 2031.
Under the renewed agreement, Kookaburra will remain an Official Partner of SACA and Premier Grade Cricket, strengthening a collaboration that has supported South Australian cricket for more than a decade.
As part of the partnership, Kookaburra will continue to provide cricket balls for use in SACA competitions, in accordance with SACA’s equipment specifications and standards, and will support Premier Cricket by providing player awards.
SACA General Manager – Commercial, Sam Elliott welcomed the extension.
“Kookaburra is synonymous with cricket, and we are delighted to continue this partnership long-term,” Elliott said.
“Partnering with such a respected brand means our players will benefit from exceptional quality, while also delivering important cost savings and efficiencies for our pathway programs.
“We’re thrilled to have Kookaburra on our team for another five summers.”
Kookaburra Sport Chief Sales & Marketing Officer Leigh Watts said the renewed agreement reflects a shared commitment to the growth of the game of cricket in South Australia.
“This partnership is built on trust and shared values,” Watts said.
“We’re proud to continue our long-standing relationship with SACA and to support the players, coaches and volunteers who contribute so much to cricket across the state. Our focus extends beyond providing world‑class products — we’re committed to helping nurture the game from grassroots through to the elite.”
As part of the agreement, the Women’s Premier Cricket Competition will continue to be known as the Kookaburra Women’s Premier Cricket Competition.
