1. By applying for Membership and registering to join the waitlist, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the SACA By-Laws (in particular by-laws 1.12, 1.13 and 1.14), available here.
2. These terms and conditions apply in addition to SACA By-Laws 1.12, 1.13, 1.14 in respect of Membership applications, waitlist registration and Membership offers. Capitalised terms have the same meaning as in the By-Laws.
3. To register for the waitlist, you must have lodged a written application for the relevant class of membership in the prescribed form and pay, in full, the Waitlist Fee applicable at the time of registration, in accordance with SACA By-Law 1.12(b).
4. The waitlist and Membership Offers will be managed in accordance with SACA By-Laws 1.13 and 1,14.
5. Membership Offers will be subject to capacity, as determined at the discretion of the SACA Board from time to time.
6. WAITLISTED APPLICANTS AGED 15 YEARS AND OVER (AS AT 01/09/2024).
a. When an applicant’s name has reached the top of the waitlist, they must either accept or reject the Membership Offer within the specified timeframe. No postponement option will be available.
b. If an applicant elects not to accept the Membership Offer, their name will be removed from the waitlist. Prior standing and priority in the waitlist will be forfeited. A further membership application will be required to re-join the waitlist.
7. WAITLISTED APPLICANTS AGED UP TO 10-14 YEARS (AS AT 01/09/2023)
a. Applicants aged 10 – 14 years of age who elect not to accept the Membership Offer will automatically be re-included on the waitlist and the applicant will receive a further offer upon reaching the age of 15. If the applicant wishes to take up the deferred offer prior to the age of 15, please contact Membership Services.
8. SACA collects, stores, processes, uses and manages applicants’ personal information in accordance with the SACA Privacy Policy. By applying for Membership and registering for the waitlist and providing your personal information, you consent to the collection, storage, processing, use and management of the personal information you disclose in accordance with the SACA Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy (as updated and amended from time to time) will be deemed to form part of these terms and conditions. The SACA Privacy Policy may be accessed here.
