SACA coordinates many programs across the state including senior and junior cricket in conjunction with Cricket Australia, with the aim of ensuring cricket remains Australia’s most popular sport.
The 'Backyard to Baggy Green' player pathway starts at Woolworths Junior Blaster level, introducing kids from as young as five years old to the basic fundamentals and rules of the game. The pathway then progresses to the slightly more advanced Woolworths Master Blaster national program designed for 7 to 10 year olds, followed by junior community cricket played at local clubs and associations.
