Tahlia McGrath was awarded the Andrea McCauley Trophy for 2018-19, as the best and fairest player for the Scorpions, following a season that included her maiden State century.
A genuine allrounder, McGrath’s quick bowling and ability to bat at the top of the order make her a valuable asset to the side.
Debuting for Australia in late 2016, McGrath has made five international appearances, including her Test debut in the 2017 Commonwealth Bank Women’s Ashes series, where she took three wickets and made 47 runs.
Featuring twice in the Governor General’s XI and the National Performance Squad (NPS), McGrath has again been named in the NPS for 2019, as a player with great promise and potential.
