Stacey Oates

Stacey Oates has been awarded her first State contract at the age of 23, after an outstanding Statewide Super First Grade season for Sturt.

The medium-pacer took 14 wickets at 13.71 in the minor rounds and went on to collect a further eight wickets in the finals.

Oates was invited to train with the Scorpions through the 2018-19 season, after showing excellent promise with the ball in 2017-18, where she also took 14 scalps.

Named in the Statewide Super Team of the Year for two consecutive years, Oates has secured herself a well-earned place in the Scorpions bowling attack.
