Born and raised in Clare, Ellie Falconer has shown plenty of promise through the South Australian State system, constantly being recognised for her quick bowling ability, reaching speeds of up to 105km/h.
The 2018-19 season will be Falconer’s second with the Scorpions, however she is yet to make her senior State debut.
Falconer was selected as part of the Under 19 Australian team that played a series in South Africa in April and has previously been involved in Cricket Australia talent camps.
The talented teen took 13 wickets from eight matches in the Statewide Super first grade women’s Premier Cricket competition in 2017-18 and contributed to her side’s premiership victories in both the one-day and Twenty20 formats.
