Amanda-Jade Wellington’s cricketing promise has not gone unnoticed by Australian selectors, earning herself another national contract for the 2018-19 season.
The right-arm leg-spinner was the joint leading wicket-taker for the 2017-18 Women’s National Cricket League season with nine scalps 4.72.
A solid batter, Wellington notched her maiden State ton in the 2017-18 season, finishing with an impressive 116 from 125 balls.
Wellington also made her Test match debut in the 2017 Commonwealth Bank Women’s Ashes series and has now accumulated 21 international appearances at just 20 years of age.
