Jake Lehmann remains an important part of the Redbacks' middle-order with his natural aggression and stroke play similar to father Darren's.
The left-handed batsman led from the front as captain last summer in Travis Head’s absence, smashing two half-centuries and 259 runs from six One-Day Cup matches to kickstart his summer.
Lehmann then produced a consistent Sheffield Shield season by topping South Australia’s runscoring with 572 runs at 31.78, highlighted by a well-deserved century against Queensland at Adelaide Oval.
He was rewarded with his first Neil Dansie Medal as the most outstanding male cricketer of the season for South Australia and will again prove a vital piece of the puzzle for the Redbacks in 2019-20.
