Upcoming left-hand batsman Conor McInerney earns his first full contract after an impressive Futures League campaign and consistent performances for Premier Cricket club Woodville which earned him the Bradman Medal alongside Kelvin Smith.
McInerney first made a huge impression at the beginning of the summer with an unbeaten 95 from 62 balls against the Adelaide Strikers for a Redbacks XI in a T20 practice match. As as a result he became a mainstay in the Second XI side.
The 24-year-old already has a first-class half-century to his name, an assertive 51 against Western Australia at Gliderol Stadium, and will continue to improve in his first year on the list.
