Pope, who took 7/87 in the first innings of South Australia’s second JLT Sheffield Shield match last week, is one of three Kensington cricketers in the side, along with Cameron Fatchen and Henry Dall.

If Pope is selected for the West End Redbacks' Sheffield Shield match against New South Wales from 7 December however, he will be withdrawn from the Under 19s side.

Sturt twins Thomas and Corey Kelly will play in their first Under 19s tournament in the same side, after Corey represented SA and Thomas was selected for the Cricket Australia XI last year.

The Under 19 National Championships will take place in Adelaide across various grounds including Karen Rolton Oval at Narnunnga/Park 25 from 3 to 13 December.

Full fixtures for the Under 19 National Championships will be available at this link in the coming weeks.
