All three retained their place after representing the country in the three-match ODI series in India last month.

Carey resumes as joint vice-captain of both the ODI and T20I squads alongside Pat Cummins, while Zampa and Richardson combined for nine wickets to be Australia’s top two wicket-takers in the subcontinent to secure their spots.

Glenn Maxwell, Mitch Marsh, Jhye Richardson and Sean Abbott are inclusions to the national squads for the upcoming tour, which begins with a T20I in Johannesburg on 21 February.
