The trio’s selection allows them to be eligible to umpire in the Toyota Futures League, WNCL, Rebel WBBL|03 and as fourth umpire in KFC BBL|08.

Sheridan is the first-ever female South Australian representative and she was the first woman in the country to have umpired a men’s Premier Cricket first grade final.
Thomas has been regularly selected on the Panel since his Premier Cricket umpiring debut in the 2008-09 season and he’s joined by Singh and Sheridan who have been umpiring since 2013 and 2015 respectively.

SACA State Umpiring Leader Sarah Fry said the selections are a testament to the umpires’ hard work, dedication and preparation.

“We are very pleased on the selection of the three umpires,” she said.

“The work that we have put into our umpiring programs and also a boom in talent is paying dividends, and we can’t wait to watch all three of them progress.

“We are also incredibly proud of Eloise who is paving the way for women and girls alike.”
