A total of 10 changes have been made from the Redbacks’ previous clash against Queensland last month with in-form batsman Jake Winter and allrounder Cameron Valente the only players retained in the 12-player squad.

A host of players including Conor McInerney, Harry Nielsen, Elliot Opie, Brad Davis, Kelvin Smith, Luke Robins and Tom Andrews have been promoted to SA’s JLT Sheffield Shield squad since the State’s last Futures outing.

Paceman David Grant is set to play his first four-day Futures League match since last October while leg-spinner Lloyd Pope returns to Futures level for the first time since SA’s opening-round win over Victoria.

Wicketkeeper Josh Barrett will captain the side.

The match against WA begins at 10am local time from Monday at the WACA.
