SEDA College SA is an independent senior secondary school and provider of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). SEDA aims to bring out the best in students by focusing on key elements.

The SACA Sports Development Program is delivered in partnership with SACA. The program integrates SACE and Vocational Education and Training (VET) where students are immersed in industry through unique inductions, community events and work placements.

This combination enables students to acquire the skills to support future educational and employment pathways.

In this program students will experience a mix of practical and classroom-based activities linked to their interest, and they will spend time working with cricket industry staff to achieve a genuine understanding of different job roles in the industry.

This provides the opportunity to develop networks, learn directly from industry professionals and gain entry to high profile venues and events.

SACA Sports Development Program students are provided with a range of opportunities to experience what it would be like to work in the cricket industry, including:

- Opportunities to become involved in events like Adelaide Oval Test Matches, Gillette One Day Internationals and T20 fixtures

- Event coordination assistance at Test matches, Gillette One Day International and T20 fixtures

- Fan activation activities at KFC Big Bash League games for the Adelaide Strikers

- Opportunities to secure work placements across a variety of departments at the SACA and Adelaide Strikers

- Community Coach Accreditation Course
