The Boomerangs (men’s team) finished the tournament in fifth place with two wins from six games, just missing out on playing in the semi-final round.
Zac Chapman was a shining star for SA with the bat, locking in third place overall for most runs with 233 and an average of 46.60.
His high score of 68 not out came in SA’s win over Northern Territory in Round 1, with Chapman going on to notch a further two half-centuries throughout the competition.
Kealen Blattner was a standout with the ball, taking 12 scalps at 8.92, finishing third overall for most wickets.
Blattner took at least one wicket in every match, collecting four-wicket hauls against both NT and Victoria.
The Desert Peas (women’s team) were defeated in all five matches, however Febi Mansell dominated with the ball.
Mansell finished third overall for wickets with 10 at 5.40, with best figures of 4/9 against Western Australia.
