Sunraysia’s Vadlja, who scored 180 on debut for Monash in Victorian Premier Cricket earlier this year and recently moved to Adelaide, made an unbeaten 113 for Western Grit on Sunday.

He shared a 166-run opening stand with Bailey Capel (79) in the comfortable win over Southern Force.

Josh Doyle (90) and Ryan King (75) led the way for Eastern Edge against Northern Mavericks, who fell short in their chase despite Harry Nielsen (52) and the rest of the top order all reaching 40.
