Kensington lost 3/22 late on the first day the previous weekend but Southern District was unable to shift Englishman Hose (175*) and Brown (106*) before they reached their target of 302.
A last-ball run out left Port Adelaide and Prospect sharing the points from a draw. Nick Benton’s 125 push Port close to Prospect’s 7/342 but it was unable to score the required two runs from the last ball to win.
Adelaide University claimed a first innings win but East Torrens took home outright points, Ben Dougall making 84 in the second innings before Michael Burgess led Uni’s chase with 90.
Adelaide secured an important 11-run win over Sturt, which was 7/189 chasing 297 to win but pushed on through Corey Kelly (76) and Ziggy Kulesza (35 n.o.). Cam Valente took 4/54.
Woodville took first innings points against West Torrens while Northern Districts were eight wickets down when they passed top side Tea Tree Gully’s 143.
In Sunday’s round of West End One-Day Cup matches, Woodville, Port Adelaide, Adelaide University and Glenelg advanced to the semi-finals.
Harry Nielsen made 108 for Woodville after Kensington’s Jake Brown followed his ton on Saturday with another century.
Jake Winter scored 90 in Glenelg’s successful chase of Prospect’s 9/202.
