Just one loss - against Victoria Country - from six T20 matches in the minor rounds set the Outbacks up for a successful finals campaign.

Best performers for SA were Brittany Perry and Kelly Armstrong, both named in the Australia Country XI at the conclusion of the tournament.

Perry executed incredible batting form, finishing as the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 372 runs and an average of 62. Perry was the only female player to make a century at this year’s Championships, while she also took three wickets in just four overs bowled.

Armstrong finished with 160 runs and eight wickets, including a high score of 68 not out.

The men’s Outbacks won just one one-day match and three T20’s, finishing last and fourth respectively.

Male top performers were bowler David Golder with 12 wickets and best figures of 3/10, and batter Peter Wilson, who finished with 199 runs, including two half centuries.
