SACA will facilitate the cricket component of the Games and is now seeking nominations for multiple divisions, with a special discounted rate available until Wednesday 1 May.
Applications for Gold registration are now open, which includes priority access at the accreditation centre, a Gold accreditation pass and a unique 17th Australian Masters Games pin, not available for purchase.
An early-bird entry fee will be available from 2 May up until 2 August, with final registrations closing on 2 September.
Both men and women are invited to participate in the cricket competition, with three age groups – 30+, 40+ and 55+ – on offer.
Cricket is scheduled to take place from Sunday 6 October to Friday 11 October, with the majority of matches to take place at the Karen Rolton Oval precinct on the corner of West Terrace and Port Road.
SACA Club and Association Officer Jess O’Reilly is helping to facilitate the cricket component of the Games.
“The Masters Games is a unique opportunity for older cricketers to be involved in a few days of fun and fierce competition,” O’Reilly said.
“It’s particularly convenient for Adelaide-based athletes with no need to travel interstate this year, so we’re encouraging anyone thinking about giving it a go to register and make the most of local venues and early-bird pricing.”
