SACA is following advice from government and health authorities, while aiming to protect the health of players, match officials and the public.

In the unfenced precinct of Karen Rolton Oval, fans are encouraged to exercise caution by avoiding the ground and instead, enjoying the West End Redbacks v Queensland match via the live stream.

The Karen Rolton Oval pavilion will be strictly inaccessible to the public and there will be no food and beverage options made available. There will also be no shaded areas or public car parking.

SACA Chief Executive Keith Bradshaw said: “While we understand this is disappointing for some fans, this is a necessary action following government health advice.

“We urge patrons to stay away from the ground to not only preserve the health of our players and staff, but to also not put their own health at risk.

“We thank South Australian cricket fans for their loyal support of all of our teams this season.”

SACA will continue to follow the best advice and protocols from the relevant authorities in relation to future events.
