The match will be the first-ever day/night Ashes Test in history.

The Test begins from Saturday, 2 December with play scheduled until Wednesday 6 December if required.

Gates open: 12pm

Ticket offices open: 11:30am

Car parking open: 11:00am

Limited casual car parking is available for $20 cash, subject to capacity via the:

- North car park (access from Pennington Terrace)
- University Lane (access from Pennington Terrace)
- Adelaide Oval permit holders in the East car park (access from King William Road)
- Adelaide Oval permit and disabled parking is available in the Torrens Parade Ground (access from Victoria Drive)

Important security information for patrons
Fans are advised to arrive early due to an increase in security measures at entrance gates and other key locations.

Security inspections take time, so fans are asked to please show patience on entry into the stadium.

Fans can ensure smooth entry into the venue by limiting the number of bags brought into the venue and by co-operate with Adelaide Oval staff at all times.

Public transport
Free public transport is available on all Adelaide Metro services upon presentation of a valid event ticket from 11am to the last service on weekdays.
