Teams were back at full strength after the final round of Women's National Cricket league last weekend, with the Jets boasting the return of Tegan McPharlin (42 not out), Tabatha Saville (two) and Sam Betts (25 not out).
Iles took 5/12 from 7.1 overs, while youngster Steph Beazleigh was also in fabulous form, taking 3/7 from seven overs.
Despite Australian quick Megan Schutt (2/5) returning for her first game for the Blues in more than two years, Northern Districts chased Sturt’s miserly 86 in the 39th over.
Kensington’s Bridget Patterson (56) was the only Brown to make an impact with the bat in her side’s win over West Torrens.
Accompanied by smattering of single-digit scores and a contribution of 12 from Shae Daly, Patterson helped Kensington reach 102, before the team was dismissed in the 34th over.
Eagle Tahlia McGrath collected 3/17 from 10 overs and followed up with a score of 18 with the bat.
West Torrens stalwart Caroline Ward top-scored with 20, but the Eagles crumbled due to a sizzling spell from Eliza Doddridge, with the medium-pacer taking 4/23.
Port Adelaide were scheduled to play against Southern District, however the Magpies forfeited.
