West Torrens’ Ellie Falconer (47) and Emily Hinze (22) were the biggest contributors for their side, but thanks to Harris’ stunning figures of 5/17 and two scalps from Jasmin Earl, the Eagles were dismissed for 138.

In reply, Alex Price (35) top-scored for Sturt, however a flurry of smaller scores had Sturt on the ropes, with the final wicket falling when the team was just six runs short of victory.

Eagles captain Jess Joseph (4/25) and Falconer (3/32) were exceptional with the ball, propelling Torrens to the top of the ladder after four rounds.

Fresh off the back of a century las weekend, Northern Districts’ captain Tegan McPharlin (79) compiled another fine knock.

She led the Jets to a competitive total of 8/185 despite 3/33 from Southern District’s Ella Wilson.

Stingray Jess O’Reilly led the charge in the chase, however the captain lacked support from the remaining batting line-up.

Three wickets from Darcie Brown (3/16) and two from both Sam Betts (2/17) and Neisha Iles (2/22) helped to remove the Stingrays for just 108 in the 43rd over.
