The program has been made possible with a $1 million joint contribution from the South Australian Cricket Association and Cricket Australia.

SACA is currently looking to support projects that align with key priorities emerging from the South Australian Cricket Infrastructure Strategy and the National Facility Audit.

These may include new or refurbished unisex and female-friendly changerooms, playing surfaces, lighting or training facilities.

Round one of the fund was opened by Minister for Recreation, Sport and Racing Corey Wingard and will close on 27 February.

The fund comprises a $10 million contribution from the Government of South Australia and a further $1 million contribution from the Australian Football League.

SACA’s partnership with the South Australian National Football League and Netball SA will help identify high impact facilities to grow sports participation across the State.

Interested cricket clubs, associations and local governments are strongly encouraged to contact State Infrastructure Manager Alicia Clutterham at in the first instance.

Full details of the program, including how to apply, can be viewed at the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing website.
