With eight wickets to get on the final day and Victoria trailing by 131, Nick Winter tore through the top-order to pick up figures of 5-33, including five maidens.
Allrounder Luke Robins (3-42) cleaned up the tail as South Australia wrapped up Victoria’s innings before lunch.
Winter and Robins also did the bulk of the damage in Victoria’s first innings, restricting their opponent to 315 on a good Karen Rolton batting wicket.
West End Redbacks batsman Conor McInerney put his team in a commanding position in reply, his maiden Futures League century guiding the Redbacks to 524 in their innings.
Redbacks Kelvin Smith (75), Harry Nielsen (76) and John Dalton (54), as well as a contribution from the lower-order drove their side to the hefty total.
South Australia will play New South Wales in the second round at Karen Rolton Oval from Monday, 29 October.
