SA was dismissed for 132 in its second innings at the WACA in Perth, leaving Western Australia needing only four runs to complete an outright win on the third day.

Jacob Dickman made 26, Sam Kerber was next best with 18 and Thomas Kelly made 16.

The remarkable 167-run last wicket stand between WA wicketkeeper Jason Morgan - who smashed an unbeaten 109 - and Alex Bevilaqua (47) proved crucial on the second day, rescuing the home side from 9/150 in reply to SA’s first innings total of 188.

Tea Tree Gully ’s Tim Oakley took 4/81 from 16 overs on debut and John Dalton’s 64 was the highest score for SA in the match.
