The Browns were bowled out for 187, but restricted the Eagles to just 146 in reply, with Monique Draycott (3/30, Kensington) and Jess Joseph (3/25, West Torrens) the pick of the bowlers.

Port Adelaide have brought up their first win in the Statewide women’s first grade competition, thanks to excellent performances with bat and ball from Magpies captain Anureet Kaur, who managed an unbeaten 40 and 1/4 off six overs.

Sturt have moved to the top of the table after their 34-run win over Northern Districts. The Blues’ Amelia Rault top scored for the match with an incredibly patient 37 runs (121 balls) while Sarah Carver took 4/18 from eight overs.
