Coleman, 38, has been working as Queensland Cricket’s State Talent and Pathways Manager and earlier this year was an assistant coach with the Australian under 19 women’s team.

A medium-pace bowler, Coleman took 84 wickets in 60 Women’s National Cricket League games for her State and was also a star indoor cricketer, captaining the Australian side between 2005 until 2017 and leading her country to multiple World Cup titles.

I am very excited about the opportunity to work with the teams and can’t wait be a part of what will hopefully be a very successful season,” said Coleman, who will start her new role later next month.

SACA General Manager, High Performance Tim Nielsen said:

“We’re thrilled to have Jude joining us at SACA and we know she will have a lot to offer to our playing group.

“She’s had extensive experience playing State cricket and having someone join us from outside of South Australia is sure to bring a fresh perspective.”
