Barossa natives and universally loved within the stunning local landscape and beyond, Jemma and husband Reece are parents to five-year-old Meg and three-year-old George, a tight family that have been supported every step of the way by their community.

Having never smoked and living a healthy lifestyle, the diagnosis was a complete shock for the Jemma, but it is one she is determined to battle alongside her family.

Both schoolteachers, Jemma and Reece have spent their lives giving back to those around them, and now it is our turn, with an online auction created to raise money for this family in their time of dire need. A former groundskeeper at Adelaide Oval, Reece has had a long connection with cricket in South Australia, including his excellent work as Curator of the Nurioopta Cricket Club’s Centennial Park Oval. When the Adelaide Strikers came to the Barossa for a WBBL fixture in 2019, the match was played on turf prepared by Reece, undoubtably with plenty of help from the whole Worroll crew.

Featuring a huge amount of unique and special items, the raffle concludes on Sunday 1 May, meaning there is still time to help Jemma and her inspiring family as they fight the biggest battle of their lives.

In addition to bats signed by the Adelaide Strikers WBBL and BBL sides, there is plenty of other exciting sporting memorabilia, package experiences and much more.

All money raised will be donated directly to the Worroll’s. Click here to get involved.
