What is the SACA Big Bash Membership?

SACA Big Bash Membership grants access to every WBBL and BBL Adelaide Strikers home match, including finals. This Membership class is made for Adelaide Strikers fans who want access to the SACA Members’ Area but aren’t looking for access to international and other domestic cricket.

Existing SACA Members who choose to downgrade to SACA Big Bash Membership this season will no longer be entitled to many of the rights and benefits of Full/Country/Junior SACA Membership. Full, Country and Junior Members who downgrade to a SACA Big Bash Membership, and later wish to upgrade to Full, Country or Junior Membership again, will be required to re-join the SACA Member waitlist, wait to receive an offer and pay the Membership Entrance Fee (if applicable).

Guest Access

Bringing a guest to the cricket is an important part of being a SACA Member. SACA Big Bash Members can purchase up to three Daily Guest Passes for Adelaide Strikers BBL matches and up to five Daily Guest Passes for Adelaide Strikers WBBL matches (at Adelaide Oval), allowing the user entry into Adelaide Oval and the SACA Members’ Area.

SACA Big Bash Members’ children and grandchildren who are nine years of age or younger as at 1 September 2025 also have free entry into Adelaide Oval when accompanying the SACA Big Bash Member.

What is a SACA Big Bash Membership?

The SACA Big Bash Membership grants access to every Adelaide Strikers match including finals at Karen Rolton Oval and Adelaide Oval.

This Membership class is made for Adelaide Strikers fans who want access to the SACA Members’ Area but aren’t looking for access to international and other domestic cricket.

SACA Big Bash Membership does not grant access to any other Cricket Australia domestic or international match days.

How much is a SACA Big Bash Membership this season?

The SACA Big Bash Membership fees are as follows:

Adult SACA Big Bash Membership: $220

Junior SACA Big Bash Membership: $50

Can I attend NYE and Adelaide Strikers Finals with a SACA Big Bash Membership?

Yes, access to the Adelaide Strikers New Year's Eve match and Adelaide Strikers finals in the SACA Members’ Area at Adelaide Oval are included in the SACA Big Bash Membership.

Do I get a reserved seat with a SACA Big Bash Membership?

No, the SACA Big Bash Membership does not come with a reserved seat. SACA Big Bash Members have access to unreserved seating in the SACA Members’ Area on a first come, first served basis (excluding seats reserved for Daily Seat Holds in Bays 304 and 305).

Can I access international cricket matches and the SACA Members' Area on a SACA Big Bash Membership?

A SACA Big Bash Membership only provides access to WBBL and BBL matches (including finals) at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton Oval. It does not include access to any other Cricket Australia international or domestic cricket. If you wish to attend these matches you will need to purchase a public ticket.

Can I downgrade to a SACA Big Bash Membership from a Full, Country or Junior Membership this renewal period?

Yes, Full, Country or Junior Members can downgrade to a SACA Big Bash Membership, but in doing so, will no longer be entitled to many of the rights and benefits of Full SACA Membership, including but not limited to access to Cricket Australia international matches, and the option to book SACA Member events outside of Adelaide Strikers match days.

Full, Country or Junior Members who downgrade to a SACA Big Bash Membership, and in the future wish to upgrade back to Full, Country or Junior Membership, will be required to re-join the SACA Membership waitlist, wait to receive an offer, and pay the Membership Entrance Fee (if applicable).

If I downgrade to a SACA Big Bash Membership, can I become a Full, Country or Junior Member again?

Full, Country or Junior Members who downgrade to a SACA Big Bash Membership, and in the future wish to upgrade back to Full, Country or Junior Membership, will be required to re-join the SACA Member waitlist, wait to receive an offer, and pay the Membership Entrance Fee (if applicable).

Can I purchase a Transferable Associate Card with a SACA Big Bash Membership?

No, SACA Big Bash Members do not have the option to purchase a Transferable Associate Card for the season, but instead have the opportunity to bring guests by purchasing Daily Guest Passes for Adelaide Strikers matches.

Can I purchase Daily Guest Passes with a SACA Big Bash Membership?

Yes, SACA Big Bash Members have the opportunity to purchase Daily Guest Passes for BBL and WBBL matches at Adelaide Oval.

Can I purchase Daily Seat Holds (daily reserved seat) with a SACA Big Bash Membership?

Yes, SACA Big Bash Members will have the opportunity to purchase up to four Daily Seat Holds (daily reserved seats) in the SACA Members’ Area for Adelaide Strikers matches at Adelaide Oval. Daily Seat Holds are located in Bays 304 and 305.

Can I be a SACA Big Bash Member at the same time as being on the SACA Member waitlist?

Yes, SACA Big Bash Members can be on the SACA Member waitlist while enjoying the benefits of a SACA Big Bash Membership. Your position on the SACA Member waitlist will be retained.

Can a SACA Big Bash Member attend SACA Member match day events?

SACA Big Bash Members can purchase BBL and WBBL Hospitality at a discounted Member rate. SACA Big Bash Members will not have the opportunity to book into any other cricket match day events.

Can a SACA Big Bash Member attend non-match day SACA Member events?

Yes, SACA Big Bash Members have the opportunity to book into selected non-match day Member events, such as SACA Premium AFL Hospitality packages, however they will have second priority to book (i.e. after these events go on sale to Full, Country, Junior and Reserved Seat Members).

Is the SACA Big Bash Membership transferable?

No, like all SACA Membership categories, the SACA Big Bash Membership is not transferable. The SACA Big Bash Membership Card can only be used by the Member (and no one else).

How is the SACA Big Bash Membership different to the Adelaide Strikers Membership?

SACA Big Bash Membership provides access to unreserved seating in the SACA Members’ Area, whilst Adelaide Strikers Membership includes a reserved seat in the public seating area.

SACA Big Bash Membership includes access to all WBBL and BBL matches at Adelaide Oval and Karen Rolton Oval, including finals. By contrast, the Adelaide Strikers Membership includes access to BBL minor round matches only, and Adelaide Strikers Members get priority access to purchase tickets for BBL and WBBL finals.

SACA Big Bash Membership is non-transferable, whereas Adelaide Strikers Membership is transferable.

Both Adelaide Strikers Members and SACA Big Bash Members will have the opportunity to purchase BBL match day hospitality at a discounted Member rate.

Do I have voting and nomination rights as a SACA Big Bash Member and/or can I attend SACA meetings?

No, SACA Big Bash Members are not Voting Members and are not entitled to receive notices of, attend and vote at meetings of SACA. SACA Big Bash Members are not eligible to run for election or hold office as a Member Elected Director on the SACA Board.

Can a SACA Big Bash Member upgrade to a Full, Country or Junior Membership in the future?

In order to upgrade to Full, Country or Junior Membership, a SACA Big Bash Member must first join the SACA Member waitlist and wait to receive an offer. Click here to join the waitlist.

Can my child under 10 become a SACA Big Bash Member?

No, only persons 10 years of age or older can become a SACA Big Bash Member. Children nine years of age or younger as at 1 September 2025, if accompanying their parent or grandparent who is a SACA Big Bash Member, can gain free access to the venue and SACA Members’ Area.

Does my time as a SACA Big Bash Member count towards years as a SACA Member?

Yes, your time as a SACA Big Bash Member counts towards your overall years as a SACA Member. If you upgrade to, or downgrade from a Full, Country, Junior or Reserved Seat Membership, your longevity as a Member will continue.
