SACA Member Benefits

SACA Member Benefits

Members of the South Australian Cricket Association enjoy a first-class experience with a wide range of benefits relating to match day and non-match day events.

Members of the South Australian Cricket Association enjoy a range of benefits well beyond the cricket season - with entry to Cricket Australia international and domestic cricket matches played at one of the world's great cricket venues - Adelaide Oval, the opportunity to book for exclusive events year-round and access to the iconic SACA Village Green.

SACA Membership is one of the most prestigious and sought-after Memberships in the world.

Explore other privileges of being a SACA Member below.

Entry to all Cricket Australia international and domestic matches

Subject to capacity and any COVID-19 restrictions or regulations, SACA Membership is the golden ticket to watch all Cricket Australia international and domestic cricket matches played at the Adelaide Oval and the Karen Rolton Oval, including all Adelaide Strikers' home matches and finals.

Exclusive premium seating and facilities

The SACA Members' match day experience is first class, with access to premium seats in the western stand, plus additional dedicated Member seating in the Riverbank Stand.

On certain match days, a ballot process may be adopted to allocate access and seating allocations.

The Members' Area is also home to the iconic SACA Village Green and is equipped with exclusive viewing rooms, food stalls and bars, including the Bodyline Bar, which channels the feel of the Long Room at Lord's, while tipping its cap to the infamous Bodyline Series in 1933 between Australia and England.

Kids under 10 go free

Traditionally, children 9 years of age or younger, if accompanying their parent or grandparent who is a SACA Member, can gain free access to the Adelaide Oval and SACA Members' Area.

We understand that being able to bring a child to the cricket is one of the most special experiences for SACA Members. SACA is hopeful that, similar to last season, free reserved allocated seats may be offered to children and grandchildren of Members under 10 years of age for Adelaide Strikers games, as well as men’s and women’s International limited overs matches scheduled at Adelaide Oval.

Given current COVID-19 restrictions and requirement for all attendees to have a reserved seat, Members’ rights to bring children or grandchildren under the age of 10 may be limited on certain match days. This will be determined by capacity. We will endeavour to provide access where feasible.

Exclusive SACA Member events

SACA Members enjoy a range of Member exclusive events, including cricket match day dining, SACA Members’ Test Match Dinner, AFL hospitality and forums with the SACA Chief Executive and President.

The SACA Village Green

The SACA Village Green is the envy of cricket grounds around the world.

The festival atmosphere is what makes the SACA Village Green the perfect spot to take a break from play and enjoy the social aspect of cricket viewing.

The SACA Village Green continues to evolve each season, providing a relaxed space for Members to socialise and enjoy the pop-up bars, food vans,  big screens and entertainment..

At this stage, we expect that the standard SACA Village Green format will be offered, but this may need to be tailored to any COVID-19 restrictions or capacity requirements applicable at the time.

Optional Transferable Associate Card

Given the potential for COVID-19 restrictions or requirements to affect venue capacity and seating, SACA is unlikely to offer Transferable Associate Cards during the 2021-22 season.

However, we understand that being able to bring a guest to the cricket is an important part of being a SACA Member for many of you.

Recognising this, SACA is hopeful that SACA Members may be offered the opportunity to purchase Guest Passes to the Members’ Area, where venue capacity and COVID-19 restrictions or requirements permit.

At this stage, SACA anticipates Guest Passes will be available for Adelaide Strikers games and men’s and women’s International limited overs matches. SACA is also hopeful that Guest Passes may be offered during the Vodafone Ashes Test Match.

Member Guest Passes

SACA Members may have the opportunity to purchase Member Guest Passes on selected match days at Adelaide Oval throughout the cricket season.

Guest Passes may be offered where venue capacity and COVID-19 restrictions permit. At this stage, SACA anticipates that Guest Passes will be available for all scheduled Adelaide Strikers games and the scheduled men’s and women’s International limited overs matches. SACA is also hopeful that Guest Passes may be offered during the Vodafone Ashes Test Match.
